Pastor's Update

Pastor's Update

What an exciting time in history to be a Christian!  Easy?  Not at all.  But we are living in the days just prior to the return of our Lord to set up His earthly Kingdom for one thousand years.  That means seven years prior the trumpet will sound and in the twinkling of an eye the church will meet our Savior in the air. When you visist on a Sunday morning you will quickly realize there is a genuine spirit of deep love for Christ and a love and support between the Saints of God. Why?  Because it's real.  We also place the Word of God and the will of Jesus at the forefront.

Here is an update on our church. November 7th, 2014 our church pastor, Dan Vaughn passed away. But although we have lost a leader, we have not lost our Founder. Christ is the tested stone, a precious cornerstone, and our sure foundation. The church is built on HIM, not a human shepherd, even though the New Testament affirms the importance of pastors. No one is more invested in the church than Jesus. "Christ loved the church and gave Himself for [it]" Ephesians 5:25 and verse 22 "...Christ is the head of the church..." So if you are thinking of visiting with us here at Grace Baptist Church, please come on in. You will have the opportunity of hearing different men of God preaching for us as we search for and wait on the timing for the Man of God the God has for us. God's Word is still alive and powerful in men's lives. We always give those who have never received Him an opportunity to accept Christ every Sunday. In the book of Hebrews it tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together especially as we see the day of Christ approaching. Today it is crucial to be in fellowship with a solid Bible believing Church. Come and check us out soon. You will be blessed by the fellowship, the music, and the old fashioned preaching.
